Welcome to Cedar Hill River Cabins

Cedar Hill River Cabins are located on the Ohio River Scenic Byway surrounded by the beautiful Shawnee National Forest of Southern Illinois. Our cabins are nestled on 11 acres in the Shawnee Forest on the Ohio River, five miles from Elizabethtown, Illinois and one mile downriver from Tower Rock National Recreation Area.

Our Cabins

We have seven private and spacious rustic décor cabins of various sizes. Our pet friendly cabins are equipped with fully furnished kitchens, gas grills, air-conditioning, TV with dish network, hot tub, Jacuzzi tub, and much more. Cedar Hill is located on the Ohio River and has over 800 feet of river shoreline and a picturesque limestone bluff and natural spring.

Located on the historic Ohio River Scenic Byway, Cedar Hill offers a diverse range of activities: Garden of the Gods with its beautiful natural rock formations, cliffs and hiking trails; Cave-In-Rock State Park featuring the 55-foot wide historic river cave discovered by French explorers in 1729 and a 15-car capacity ferry, operating between Cave-In-Rock and Kentucky. The Ohio River Scenic Byway is full of natural splendor and history.
